| 1988 Ranger, 2" factory suspension lift, (it was called the hi-rider) I have added a 1970 302 V-8 using all Duff parts. Including motor mounts, radiator, transmission adapter for the C-4 tranny, oil filter adapter. Only problem I had was tightening the passenger side motor mount to the frame (lot of sweat and knuckle meat got it done.) Everything fit great. Hade to do some creative thinking on the upper radiator hose, but no problem. Hade to cut the heater housing a bunch, but that is because of my valve train and valve cover choice. Engine epuipped with roller rockers with a Crane cam, 3 angle valve job with head maximazation (port, polish and optimazion of the heads.) Mallory electronic ignition with manual advance, Eldelbrock intake for low RPM torque, Holly Carburator, and fuel pressure regulator, a Amsoil lifetime airfilter, and Amsoil 20-50W off road synthetic oil and Amsoil oil filters. Aftermarket trans and oil coolers. Rear mounted battery (will replace with an Optima.) 29x10.5 Pep Boys Futura Mud Tires on stock wheels. |
