Duffys 289, 302 & 351W
Headers
A design that has stood the test of time. Our headers are one piece
construction (not sleeved) with equal length tubes for maximum horsepower
and torque. Designed so the starter can be removed with the headers
in place and to clear the steering and clutch link-age. Made of 16
gauge 1 1/2 diameter
tubing for smooth flow into the 2 1/2 collectors, they follow the
same route as the stock exhaust system. Utilizes a 3/8 thick flange
for strength and to prevent gasket blow out. They fit 289, 302/5.0 and
351W/5.8
conversions. Will not work with GT-40P heads. Compatible with C4 and
AOD automatics and manual transmissions. C6 transmissions will require
modification. Recently updated to fit better with our #5350 Radius Arms.

Design
change in 12/01 moved driver side lower tubes to inside the frame
to better clear our Extended Radius Arms. Require at least
a 2" suspension lift to clear driveline without modification.

Accel Kool Blue Free Flow Air Filter
Get the most out of your engine with a high performance air filter
from Accel. Surgical
cotton gauze sandwiched between layers of blue expoxy coated galvanized steel
mesh ensure that this filter will look as good as it performs! This unique
design filters particles as small as 2.8 microns while still giving
extremely high flow rates, maximum filtration and long filter life.
We run these on our own vehicles
and can’t say enough about them. Includes
chrome top, a 3” element and a 1 1/4” drop base to give a low profile.
Fits most popular 4 barrel carbs. 2 3/4” minimum clearance needed above
the carb. Fits 351 with hood scoop, 289 and 302 without. Depending on application,
a breather fitting may be needed (sold separately). We also offer the recharge
kit so the filter can be cleaned and re-oiled for maximum performance.

Stage 8 Header Bolts
Ordinary Header bolts can be a real pain to keep tight due to the expansion
and contraction that headers go through. No one likes getting in there
and
busting their knuckles if they dont have to. We swear by these (not
at them)! They use a patented locking system that wont come loose.

Dual Exhaust Kit
This kit can be used with our headers or stock manifolds. It comes
with 14 gauge 2 1/4 diameter pipes and two, high quality, 15 Turbo
Mufflers. They offer less restriction and longer use than glasspacks
as well as better performance and a nice resonant sound. Welding
is required
to connect head pipes to reducers or stock manifolds. Exhaust pipes exit
just behind both rear wheels. Will not fit 76-77s equipped with catalytic
convertors. Now also available with 40 Series Flowmaster mufflers (#3090FLOW).
